Barista Lavazza coffee comes to Nepal

KATHMANDU, SEP 12: 

Premium Beverages and Food — official franchise of Barista Lavazza — is bringing a global coffee brand to Nepal.

The international coffee chain’s outlet Lavazza’s first café will be opened in Lazimpat, Kathmandu on Thursday, according to Premium Beverages and Food that has Ravi Bhakta Shrestha as chairman and Shyam Sundar Lal Kakshapati as managing director.

Barista Lavazza is a chain of espresso bars in India. Established in February 2000 under the name Barista, it was taken over by Lavazza in 2007, a world-famous enterprise that continues to be Italy’s top-ranking coffee company.

Headquartered in Okhla, Barista currently has espresso bars across India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the Middle East. The company was established in February 2000 by Barista Coffee Company Limited.
