Barahi Hydropower Public IPO Allotment to be Concluded on Sunday; 51,592 Lucky Applicants will Get 10 units Each

The IPO allotment of Barahi Hydropower Public Limited will take place this Sunday, i.e. Poush 03, 2079. The allotment program will be held on the premises of the issue manager NIBL Ace Capital, Lazimpat, Kathmandu.

The company issued its IPO issue of 5,54,000 units of ordinary shares worth Rs 5.54 crore to the general public from Mangsir 21 till Mangsir 26. Out of the total 5,54,000 units; 2% of the total offered shares i.e. 11,080 units were set aside for the employees of the company and 5% of the total offered shares i.e. 27,000 units were set aside for the mutual funds. The remaining 5,15,920 units were for the general public.

According to data presented by CDSC, the issue has received approx 956,641 applications applying for a total of 11,016,270 units of shares till the last day. Thus, the IPO was oversubscribed by 21.38 times in terms of the number of units through ordinary applicants as of the closing day

Looking at the data, it is apparent that only 51,592 lucky applicants will get ownership of the company.
