Banks to operate internet banking and ATM services during Dashain; Branches will be closed

Nepal Bankers' Association (NBA) has issued a notice informing about the banking operations during Dashain.

According to the notice, all the banks and their branches will remain closed from Kartik 07 to Kartik 11. Meanwhile, customers can still operate mobile/internet banking services and also withdraw cash from ATMs if needed. These facilities can be utilized as usual.

The association has requested the general public to use these digital services as much as possible and mitigate the risks of the ongoing pandemic. The Banking sector has also been hit hard by the pandemic, with more than 3,700 of its staff already tested positive for the virus.
