Banks in Nepal and China sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement; Sunrise Bank and Bank of China, Gansu Branch under mutually beneficial agreement
Sunrise Bank has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Bank of China, Gansu branch on 13Th May 2019. Gansu Province organized an event at Hotel Soaltee Crown Plaza, Kathmandu in presence of Governor of Gansu Mr. Tang Rengiyan, Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives Mr. Chakrapani Khanal, Chief Minister of Province 3 Mr. Dormani Paudel and Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mr. Bidhya Sundar Shakya. This agreement will help the two reputed banks of both the countries to enhance the cooperative relationship and to improve the mutual development and the long term cooperation for both parties. As per the agreement, SRBL and BOC Gansu Branch shall work together for correspondent relationship, goods and service trade in CNY (Chinese Currency) and to share information which might be relevant to both the parties.
For the sake of cordial relationship and firm communication, both the parties have decided to form a task force.
All the strategic activities mentioned in the agreement shall be within the framework of Central Banks and prevailing laws of both the countries. Agreement was signed by the Chief Executive Officer of Sunrise Bank, Mr. Ratna Raj Bajracharya and DGM of Bank of China, Gansu Branch Mr. Wang Vaigun.
