Banking scams alert from Machhapuchchhre Bank! Urges people not to provide sensitive info to fake FB pages of the bank

Machhapuchchhre Bank has made the public aware of the growing banking scams that involve the fake Facebook id of the bank.

Issuing the media statement, the bank has urged people to be aware of the fake Facebook page which can be found in the URL https://www.facebook.com/Macchapuchhre-Bank-107513404852143/ which is actually asking people to provide their sensitive information.

The bank has requested all the people not to provide personal details like PIN code number, Debit/credit card numbers, OTP, account password even if they happen to receive the Facebook messages from the bank’s pages which are disguised as the original pages. It has requested people to report such an issue to the bank’s customer care number 015970555.
