Banking for All: Global IME's Inclusive Financial Education Program Across Seven Provinces

Global IME Bank Limited (GBIME), as part of its corporate social responsibility, has conducted a financial literacy program across 35 branches in all seven provinces.

The program targeted various groups, including farmers, entrepreneurs, labourers, students, women, remittance recipients, and local youth. More than 4,000 people were educated on topics such as saving, credit, remittance, digital banking, insurance, investment, additional banking services, financial fraud, and financial discipline.

The programs took place in different districts, with participation exceeding 700 in locations like Bhaktapur, Rasuwa, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Baglung, Parbat, Kaski, Kapilbastu, Dang, Gulmi, Nawalparasi, Palpa, Pyuthan, Rolpa, Doti, Bajura, Baitadi, Dadeldhura, Kanchanpur, and Kailali.

Global IME Bank, the first private-sector commercial bank with branches in every district of the country, boasts a comprehensive network featuring 355 branch offices, 378 ATMs, 275 branchless banking services, 65 extension and revenue collection counters, and 3 foreign representative offices.

The bank, with the slogan 'The Bank for all,' has served more than 46 lakh customers.
