Bank of Kathmandu to lead consortium of 5 banks funding 21.21 MW Upper Khudi Hydro project; consortium to lend 70% of total project cost of Rs 4.19 arba

Bank of Kathmandu has completed a financial closure process to fund 21.21 MW Upper Khudi hydro project located at Marsyangdi Gaupalika of Lamjung district after signing a financial closure related agreement with Super Khudi Hydro Power.

The financial closure was concluded under a consortium of five banks, Global IME Bank, Civil Bank, Mega Bank and Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank led by Bank of Kathmandu that totals to 70% of the estimated project cost which is Rs 4.19 arba, as per the media statement.

The bank currently provides its services from its 90 branches, 78 ATM outlets and 10 extension counters while is currently funding 34 big projects all over the nation.
