Bank of Kathmandu Limited (BOKL) has announced its 26th AGM on Mangsir 15, i.e. November 30.
The 167th meeting of the board of directors held on Kartik 20 has called the company's 26th AGM from 11 am that day. Because of the risks of the ongoing pandemic, only a limited number of investors can attend the AGM in the company's central office in Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu. Others will be provided Zoom ID and passcode to attend the live streaming of the AGM.
Among other proposals, the AGM will present the financial report of the fiscal year 2076/77. It will also endorse the profit-loss statement, cash flow, etc. for the same year.
Bank of Kathmandu has also proposed a 16% dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77. The bank has proposed a 3% cash dividend and a 13% bonus shares from the paid-up capital. Thus, the cash dividend amounts to Rs. 25,64,06,622 and bonus shares amount to Rs. 1,11,12,89,014. The cash dividend also includes the tax amount for the bonus shares. Thus, the upcoming AGM will also endorse this dividend payout.
The 167th meeting of the board of directors has also announced the book closure on Kartik 28. The books will be closed from Kartik 28 to Mangsir 15. Thus, investors maintained before Kartik 28 can attend the upcoming AGM and are also entitled to the dividend payout for the fiscal year 2076/77.
