Banijya Bank to help in disbursement of fund to 2500 families under UNDP Nepal’s Prayash project; bank to use its extensive banking penetration for fund payout in 6 districts

Rastriya Banijaya Bank has inked an agreement with UNDP Nepal under which the bank will facilitate the disbursement of funds to the marginalized families under the Prayash project of the UN agency in Nepal.

The agreement was signed between the CEO of the bank Kiran Kumar Shrestha and the Residencial Representative of UNDP in Nepal Aisani Medagangoda Lave amid a program.

Under this agreement, the bank will help in the disbursement of funds via banking channels to 2500 marginalized families in Bajura, Kailali, Siraha, Saptari, Rautahat, and Syangja districts under the UNDP’s project, as per the media statement.
