Banijya Bank makes financial contribution towards global clean-up campaign of Everest mountaineers; also creates history by getting its flag hoisted at roof of the world

Rastriya Banijya Bank has provided financial support of Rs three lakh to the Father and Sons campaign of mountaineer father Mr Purnakumar Sherpa and his mountaineer son Mr Sonam Sherpa who recently scaled the summit of the Sagarmatha with an aim to raise awareness and needed fund in order to conserve the global environment.

CEO of the bank Mr Kiran Kumar Shrestha handed over the cheque of the support amount to the Globally Concerned Centre for Climate Change, the organization that is leading the mountain expedition.

The campaign had recently hoisted the flag of the bank at the top of Mt. Everest while the initiation is looking forward towards the clean-up campaign of seven continents and five oceans, as per the media statement.
