Avasar Equity Diversified Fund appoints PwC Business Consulting Services LLP, India to conduct valuation of its investment portfolio

Avasar Equity Diversified Fund (Fund), Nepal’s first domestic Private Equity Fund managed by Avasar Equity Limited (Fund Manager), has signed an engagement letter with PwC Business Consulting Services LLP, India (PwC BCS) to carry out the valuation of the investments made by the Fund in the investee companies. PwC BCS shall, once a year, determine the fair value of the investments, to be used by the Fund for its portfolio monitoring and investor reporting purpose.

This pioneering engagement between the Fund and PwC BCS is in-line with the Fund Manager’s commitment to adhere to the highest standards of fund management practices in the burgeoning Private Equity and Venture Capital industry in Nepal.

PwC BCS, with its breadth and depth of valuation capabilities globally, is expected to bring in comprehensive insight into the valuation exercise.
