Asian Life raises capital to Rs 457.96m

KATHMANDU, OCT 7: 

Asian Life Insurance has raised its paid-up capital to Rs 457.96 million from the previous Rs 360 million. The company raised its capital base by issuing bonus shares worth Rs 97.96 million as per the decision taken during the company´s annual general meeting held around three months ago, says a company statement. 

The company has so far earned insurance premium of Rs 3.47 billion of which Rs 1.03 billion was generated in the last fiscal year ended July 15, says the statement.
