Asian life insurance earns Rs. 100 million profit

BIRJUNG, Parsa, July 2:

The Asian Life Insurance Company Ltd has earned a net profit of Rs. 99.7 million in the last Fiscal Year 2069-70 BS.

Chairman of the company Bijaya Sarabagi said the company will keep it in reserve without distributing dividends.

Sarabagi said the there was Rs. 4.1 billon in life insurance fund and Rs. 4.26 billion in investment until mid April and had earned Rs. 1.2 billion as insurance premium by mid June in the current FY 2070-71 BS.

The company has 20 branches and 72 sub branches across the country. Speaking in the sixth general assembly held here recently were board members Dinesh Lal Shrestha, Shyam Sundar Rungata, Shushank Chachan, Deepak Kumar Shrestha, CEO Rajesh Kumar Shrestha, among others.
