Asian Life Insurance Company Distributed 8.50% Bonus Shares Directly to Shareholders' DEMAT Account

Asian Life Insurance Company Limited (ALICL) has distributed 8.50% bonus shares directly to the DEMAT accounts of its shareholders. The company has urged its shareholders to dematerialize its shares.

The company convened its 15th AGM on 18th Baisakh and endorsed an 8.947% dividend worth Rs. 26.01 Crores for the fiscal year 2078/79. The meeting of the board of directors held on Falgun 30 decided to distribute 8.50% bonus shares worth Rs. 24.71 crores and a 0.447% cash dividend (for tax purposes) worth a little over Rs. 1.30 crores from the paid-up capital of Rs. 2.90 Arba.

Note that the bonus shares are already listed in NEPSE. As of writing, ALICL has an LTP of Rs. 667.
