Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited has appointed Mr. Ashwini Kumar Thakur as an Independent Director as per the decision made on 2082/03/20. Appointed under Section 14(3) of the Bank and Financial Institutions Act, 2073, Mr. Thakur brings extensive leadership experience, including roles at Nepal Rastra Bank, National Life Insurance, and various major institutions.

He assumed office on 2082/03/29 at the bank’s central office, where the board wished him a successful tenure. The bank believes his expertise will strengthen institutional governance.
