Asha Laghubitta convenes its 5th AGM; endorses proposal of 26.31% dividend to its shareholders

Asha Laghubitta has convened its 5th AGM for the FY 2077-78 under the leadership of its chairman Mr. Nirgun Prasad Bhattachan on Kartik 29, 2078.

Apart from the regular financial reports, The AGM has endorsed the board’s proposal to provide 25% bonus shares and 1.31% cash dividend for the taxation purpose to its shareholders from the profit it had made in the previous fiscal year.

The AGM unanimously elected Mr. Nirgun Prasad Bhattachan, Mr. Pradeep Kumar Khadka, Mr. Sushan Sherchan, and Ms. Kabita Pokharel as BoDs from the promoter shareholder group and has also appointed K.M.U. Associates, Charter Accountant as the external auditor of the microfinance for the current fiscal year.

The microfinance currently serves 67 thousand rural households where it has disbursed the loans of Rs 4.42 Arba and raised deposits of Rs 1.42 arba so far.
