Arun Kabeli Power Limited (AKPL) Appoints Issue Manager for Rights Offering

Nabil Investment Banking Limited has been appointed the issue manager for the rights issue of Arun Kabeli Power Limited (AKPL).

The 11th AGM of the company held on 26th Bhadra, 2078, endorsed a 17.89% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78: 17% in bonus shares and 0.89% in cash dividends for tax purposes. Furthermore, the AGM also endorsed the issuance of a 1: 1 right share on the paid-up capital maintained after bonus shares adjustment.

The media statement unveiled after the AGM claimed that the amount thus collected from the rights issue will be utilized to pay the outstanding bank loan which will thereby enable the company to provide a more handsome dividend in the coming days.
