Araniko Culture & Business Promotion Society to conduct Nepal China Expo 2018 at Patan Durbar Square Area
Nepal-based Araniko Culture & Business Promotion Society (ACBPS) will be organizing a China-themed expo named “Nepal China Expo 2018 – A Showcase of Trade and Culture” from 05 October to 09 October 2018. The event is targeted primarily towards visitors from all over the valley & will be held at Patan Durbar Square Area.
With the objective of contributing towards the culture, business and trade sectors of Nepal; making tangible contributions towards national economy by conserving and promoting trade and commerce to compete in international markets,ACBPS is conducting a first ever Nepal China Expo 2018 to promote trade and culture between two nations. The expo will be based on B2C, B2B and demonstration of cultural program.
The expo has been timed just prior to Dashin so that the Nepalese can buy quality products as gifts for their loved ones in festival season. It will feature over 100 stalls comprising mostly of manufacturers from China who will be showcasing a variety of Chinese items which are becoming popular in Nepalese Market. Certain percentage of the stalls will also feature indigenous products of Nepal. Under "The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI)", this event shall be a medium to enhance trade and cultural relations between Nepal and China.
While Chinese manufacturers will have the opportunity to display and sell their latest consumer items (Clothes, Shoes, Cosmetics, Articles for Children, Stationery, Daily supplies, Bedding, Tools and hardware, Sporting equipment, Kitchenware and Virtual World Gadgets etc.), Nepalese people will be able to avail them first hand during a time when the entire country is in the mood for celebration and enjoyment. Concurrently, indigenous Nepali manufacturers will also have a platform to showcase their products not only to the local public but also potentially for export. Therefore, it will be a win-win situation for everybody”. The expectant footfalls during 5 days event are around 2 lakhs.
