Api Power Company is all set to begin producing 4 MW electricity from its Chandranighaapur Solar Energy Project within Baisakh end, 2078. The power producer is in the final construction process of this first-ever private sector-promoted solar energy power plant of the nation.
Api Power and Nepal Electricity Authority have entered into an agreement to produce and purchase a total of 18.5 MW of solar energy which would be added into the national power grid making it the first-ever solar energy power generation from the private sector, as per the media statement.
The power producer hopes that the completion of all its current projects will prove to be a milestone in its financial status following which the company will be able to provide regular handsome dividends to its shareholders, as per the media statement.
