Api Power Company begins operation of 8 MW Upper Naugarh Gad Project at Sudhur Pashim Province; 4.87 crore KW energy to come online annually into national grid

Api Power Company has completed its 8 MW Upper Naugarh Gad Hydro Project on Kartik 13, 2076 and subsequently linked the produced energy to the national power grid. The project will generate 4.87 crore KW energy annually.

The project was built with total cost of Rs 160 crore where Nepal SBI Bank led consortium had provided credit of Rs 120 crore. The project will generate Rs 27.48 crore in revenue annually which will see the increment of 3%.

In the same way, the company is also in the process to begin construction work of 40MW Upper Chameliya Hydro Project in the rural hilly district of Darchula in Sudhur Pashim province, as per the media statement.
