Another 25 MW energy to come online to national grid soon; Upper Dordi A hydros’ progress in full swing with major breakthrough in tunnel

25 MW Upper Dordi A Hydropower that is currently being constructed by Liberty Energy Company at Lamjung received a breakthrough in its construction of 2623 m long tunnel on Ashoj 18, 2075.

The major break through event was also attended by chairman of the company Mr. Kush Kumar Joshi, BoD Mr. Aatmaram Ghimire, member of PA 4 Mr. Dhananjay Dawadi, District Coordinator of NCP Mr. Krishna Adhikari, district chairman of NC Mr. Hari Baral, chairman of FNCCI Lamjung Mr. Rajesh Thapa among others.

The project which has completed 80% of its civil work so far is expecting to complete the remaining works and installation of machinery by Falgun 2075. The hydro power is being funded from a loan consortium of 9 banks led by Nepal Investment Bank where the estimated price is Rs 3.96 arba.
