The American Chamber of Commerce in Nepal (AmCham Nepal) and the U.S. Embassy Kathmandu held a business roundtable with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on October 6 to discuss intellectual property protection and business confidence in Nepal.

More than 30 legal representatives and business leaders from AmCham member companies attended the event. Discussions covered trademark imitation, brand protection, source-code theft, intellectual property in creative industries, taxation of intangible products and challenges in IP enforcement.
