Agni Foundation Donates Two Mahindra XUV400 EVs to KIOCH on Agni Group’s 35th Anniversary
Agni Foundation, the nonprofit arm of Agni Group and authorized distributor of Mahindra vehicles in Nepal, celebrated Agni Group’s 35th anniversary by donating two Mahindra XUV400 electric SUVs to the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health (KIOCH). The handover event took place in Budanilkantha, Kathmandu. Agni Foundation President Susan Vaidya Shrestha stated that the initiative reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to supporting communities and empowering families.
KIOCH Chairman Prof. Dr. Bhagawan Koirala expressed gratitude, noting that the EVs will strengthen school health programs, district health systems, and community initiatives, ultimately benefitting thousands of children directly and indirectly. The eco-friendly vehicles will help KIOCH expand its outreach, making healthcare-related travel safer, smoother, and more sustainable.
Agni Foundation continues to focus on health, education, sports, and disaster recovery. Its past contributions include supporting PICU and NICU renovations at TU Teaching Hospital. KIOCH aims to provide international-standard, affordable healthcare to children under 18, aligning closely with Agni Group’s vision of creating lasting social impact.
