After Completion of Merger, WOMI will Trade in NEPSE from Tomorrow; 5,07,420 Shares Added

After completion of the merger procedures, the joint transaction of Womi Laghubitta and Grameen Swayamsewak Laghubitta has commenced from 3rd Chaitra. The two companies have carried out the joint operation under the name Womi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited.

After Womi Laghubitta signed a Merger Agreement with Grameen Swayamsewak Laghubitta, its trading was halted from September 13, 2020. Now, NEPSE has released an official notice stating the trading of the company will now resume, as per NEPSE's decision on Chaitra 08. Furthermore, extra 5,07,420 shares are listed under the company's name obtained from the merger.

Before the merger, Grameen Swayamsewak Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha was an unlisted "D" class financial institution (microfinance company) formerly operational in Sarlahi, Ward no. 11.
