After 5 Days Consecutive Loss, NEPSE Gains 14.41 Points to Close at 1,952.66; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs 1.204 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 1,952.66 today after gaining 14.41 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.74%. The index lost 30.77 points this Sunday.

Today the index opened at 1,937.43 which is also the intraday low. While it went as high as 1,964.08 and ultimately closed at 1,952.66.

261 scrips traded hands via 24,373 transactions. A total of 4,059,149 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.204 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.392 Arba.

Salt Trading Corporation (STC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 12.07 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 4,200 per share. The shares of KDBY traded the most.

Shuvam Power Limited (SPL) gained the highest 10% and hit positive for the day.

Conversely, CYC Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CYCL) lost the highest 5.18% today.

Only two sector indices closed red, "Manufacturing And Processing" lost the highest 1.06% while "Hydropower" gained the highest 1.67% today.
