After 3 Days of Impressive Gain, NEPSE Loses Minimal 0.15% to Close at 2,061.06; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs. 3.458 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,061.06 today after losing 3.03 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.15%. The index increased by 17.56 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,066.02 and made an intraday low of 2,050.57. It made an intraday high of 2,081.53 and closed at 2,061.06.

257 scrips traded hands via 53,314 transactions. A total of 8,222,833 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 3.458 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 2.960 Arba.

Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 43.19 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 4,030 per share. The shares of Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC) traded the most.

Swet-Ganga Hydropower & Construction Limited (SGHC) and Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (DLBS) gained the highest 10% each and hit a positive circuit for the day. Whereas, KLBS and AIL too increased by almost 10% today.

On the other side of things, Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) lost the highest 5.59% today.

Only four sector indices closed green, "Others" lost the highest 1.73% while "Trading" gained the highest 2.89% today.
