Advertising Association of Nepal Marks 26th Anniversary with Discussion on Nepal's Evolving Media Landscape

The Advertising Association of Nepal (AAN) organized an interactive program titled "Evolving Media Landscape and Ever-Transitioning Advertising Business" as part of its month-long Month of Creativity campaign celebrating its 26th anniversary.

Held in Kathmandu with support from Adsaro Nepal, Ad Club Nepal and IAA Nepal, the event brought together media and advertising professionals to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing Nepal's advertising industry.

Participants highlighted the rapid shift toward digital and social media platforms, the growing importance of AI, data-driven and influencer marketing, and the shortage of skilled digital professionals. They also emphasized the need for ethical guidelines and responsible use of emerging technologies such as AI and deepfakes.

The program featured a panel discussion, a presentation on digital advertising technology by Adsaro Nepal, and concluded with AAN President Sudip Thapa expressing confidence that technological innovation would enhance transparency, efficiency and effectiveness across Nepal's media and advertising sector while thanking all organizers and participants.
