Add another company on your IPO radar; Liberty Energy Company Limited will be issuing 37.50 Lakh units to the locals and general public

A hydropower company, namely, Liberty Energy Company Limited is set to issue IPO worth Rs.37.50 Crore for the locals of project affected area and general public. The hydropower company, with production capacity of 25 MW, is currently operating at Upper Daraudi “A”.

The company has authorized capital of Rs.1.50 Arba. The company will be issuing 10% of the capital or 15 Lakh units worth Rs.15 Crore to the locals of the project affected area. Similarly, it will be issuing 22.50 Lakh units worth Rs.22.50 Crore to the general public, making up 15% of the total capital. After the said issue, the authorized, issued and paid-up capital of the company will stand at Rs.1.50 Arba.

NIBL Ace Capital has been appointed as the issue manager of the said issue. The agreement with the issue manager was made on 2nd Poush 2075.

The company has investment in the form of loan from nine BFIs. As per the executives and the project head, 85% of the construction has been completed while the remaining 15% is expected to be complete by the end of coming Chaitra. The electromechanical machines have been purchased from a European Company, namely, Andritz Hydro Private Limited.

The company boasts of having experienced promoters group and management team who have experience in industrial management, who are responsibly working to finish the project with minimum investment and within the mentioned period.

As per the agreement with the Nepal Electricity Authority, the hydropower project is expected to begin its commercial operation from 14th Bhadra, 2076.
