ADBL, CFS join hands

KATHMANDU, JAN 24: 

Continental Financial Services (CFS) — the principal agent of Himalayan Bank’s remittance service ‘HimalRemit’ — has entered into an agreement with Agricultural Development Bank Ltd (ADBL) to start remittance services. The agreement allows customers of HimalRemit to avail remittance services through ADBL’s network of 173 branches throughout the country. A memorandum of understanding was signed and exchanged between chairman of CFS Rajesh Upadhaya and CEO of ADBL Tej Bahadur Budathoki to start the remittance services of HimalRemit. HimalRemit has been managed by CFS for the past nine years through a strong network of 1200 agents and 3,000 counters located across the country.
