Aarambha Chautari Laghubitta successfully completes acquisition of Butwal based Deurali Laghubitta

Banepa based Aarambha Chautari Laghubitta has successfully completed the acquisition process of Butwal based Deurali Laghubitta thereby beginning the joint transaction on Kartik 30, 2078.

The event to mark the joint transaction was also attended by BoD of Nepal Rastra Bank Mr. Ramje Regmi, ward 10 chairs of Banepa Mr. Chandra Bahadur Khadka, chairman of then Deurali Laghubitta Mr. Binod Gyawali, CEO of the microfinance Mr. Laxmi Prasad Sharma, chairman Mr. Jagat Bahadur Pokharel, among others.

With the joint transaction, the chair of then Deurali Laghubitta Mr. Binod Gyawali has joined Arambha Chautari as its board member while former CEO Mr. Shiva Prasad Gyawali has been appointed as the company secretary, as per the media statement.

After the acquisition, the paid-up value of the microfinance has scaled up to Rs 30.69 crore, has over 92K members, deposit collection of Rs 1.47 arba, and credit disbursement of Rs 5.32 arba, and will provide its services with 149 branches in 52 districts
