Aarambha Chautari Laghubitta Reports 37.19% Decline In Net Profit For The Q3 Of FY-78/79

For the third quarter (Q3) of the fiscal year 2078/2079, Aarambha Chautari Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ACLBSL) has reported a 37.19% decline in the net profit. Microfinance generated a net profit of 4.92 crores in the last nine months, coming down from the net profit of Rs. 7.83 crores of the preceding previous year period.
Despite the increase in net interest income by 32.38%, profit still plunged, which may be due to the contingent record for possible losses of Rs. 2.7 crores posted by microfinance. The decline is also attributed due to the fact that the operating expenses i.e staffs expenses has been increased by 57.47% in this particular period.
As of Chaitra end, 2078, ACLBSL has a paid-up capital of Rs. 36.71 Crores. Likewise, at this capital, the annualized earnings per share (EPS) of the microfinance stood at Rs. 17.87. Similarly, the end market price stood at Rs. 983 and the net worth per share which was Rs. 143.31 in the previous quarter declined by 5.41% coming down to Rs. 135.55 in this quarter.
