31% Bonus Shares of Nepal Life Insurance (NLIC) Now Listed in NEPSE

1,70,38,098.51 bonus shares of Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) are now listed in NEPSE.

The insurance company convened its 20th AGM on Magh 28, 2077 under the leadership of its chairman Mr. Govind Lal Sanghai. The AGM endorsed all the financial reports and highlights of the previous FY as well as the board’s decision to provide 31% bonus shares and a cash dividend of 20%.

The same bonus shares are now listed in NEPSE. After the capitalization of the proposed bonus shares, the paid-up value of the company will scale up to Rs 7.19 Arba, the highest among the insurance companies in Nepal. The ordinary shares of the company closed at Rs. 1,929 last week.

The company has reported growth in net profit by 8.36% in Q3. The company reported a net profit of Rs. 50.66 crores compared to Rs. 46.75 crores of the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
