30‚000 women benefited from cooperatives

The Shramjivi Saving and Cooperatives of Dhangadhi VDC of Siraha district has benefited some 30,000 women after creating different income generating business at Dhangadhi VDC-1 in the district.

The cooperatives, has invested Rs 407 million receiving funds from different financial banks to the women, said Panchu Lal Mahato secretary at the cooperatives.

The cooperatives was established 16 years ago and has transacted Rs 178 million in the fiscal year 2070/71, said Sushil Chandra Adhikari, chairman at the cooperatives.
