The Bureau has given the NS mark to a Chinese regulator company Ningbo Sui Xin.
Although the other countries had been providing their country’s standard mark to goods produced in Nepal or the Nepali industries since long, Nepal started providing its standard mark only recently when Nabindra Raj Joshi was the Minister for Industry.

Bureau director general Bishwa Babu Pudasaini said that the number of foreign industries acquiring the Nepal standard mark has been gradually increasing. “We have been granting NS mark to the foreign companies applying for the same after fulfilling the required process,” he said.

Similarly, the Bureau has granted license to 369 various types of goods of 60 different products manufactured by 250 industries within and outside the country.
