The NEPSE index closed at 1,931.68 today after losing 2.80 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.14%. The index lost 29.07 points last Thursday.
Today the index opened at 1,934.51 and made the intraday high at 1,945.05. In contrast, it went as low as 1,918.52 and ultimately closed at 1,931.68.
265 scrips traded hands via 33,149 transactions. A total of 3,056,775 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 97.45 Crores in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.653 Arba.
Soaltee Hotel Limited (SHL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 3.89 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 259 per share. The shares of NICBF traded the most.
Three scrips gained the highest they could and technically hit the positive circuit for the day.
Conversely, Asian Hydropower Limited (AHL) lost the highest 7.83% today.
Four sector indices closed green, "Hotel and Tourism" gained the highest 4.65% while "Trading" lost the highest 0.98% today.
