17th National Handicraft Expo gets started at Bhrikutimandap; Finance Minister Dr. Khatiwada promises to ensure credit facilities for setting up more handicraft SMEs in the nation
Finance Minister of Nepal Dr. Yuvraj Khatiwada has inaugurated the 17th Handicraft Expo and 15th Handicraft competition at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu on Mangsir 12, 2076 where the federal minister pledged to take all possible steps to ensure that the small and medium scale enterprises receive adequate loan facilities from the banks.
The inaugural event was also attended by Secretary of Ministry of Industry Mr. Baikuntha Aryal, chairman of Handicraft Association Mr. Surendra Bhai Shakya, among others. The event will continue till Mangsir 16, 2076 where around 200 stalls from both national and international handicraft producers are available, as per the media statement.
