10.25% Machhapuchhre Bank Debenture 2085 receives 513 applicants from the general public; all applicants fully allotted

Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited (MBL) had opened the issue for “10.25% Machhapuchhre Bank Debenture 2085” from Shrawan 6, 2076. The issue was closed on Bhadra 3, 2076. The allotment of the issue concluded on Bhadra 13, 2076.

MBL was issuing 30 lakh units debenture at par value of Rs.1000 each to raise debt worth Rs.3 Arba with the maturity of 10 years. Out of the total issue 1,200,000 units (40% of the issue) were for the general public while remaining 1,800,000 units (60% of the issue) were reserved for private placement.

NMB Capital had been appointed as the issue manager. As per the issue manager, from the general public, the issue received 513 valid applicants applying for 92,073 units till the date of closing. All applicants have been fully allotted debentures. NMB Capital added that remaining 2,907,927 units of debentures were allotted to applicants from private placement.

The bank will soon list Rs.3 Arba worth of the debenture with NEPSE which shall make a big contribution to further develop the securities market of the nation. The bank currently has 136 branches, 121 branchless banking units, 158 ATM terminals in different locations of the nation.
