Zonta Club Kathmandu virtually convenes its 6th AGM; officially welcomes incoming board
Zonta Club Kathmandu has hosted its 6th AGM virtually on Sunday, 31st May 2020. The Club has officially welcomed its incoming board for the 2020-2022 biennium, which is being led by President Zontian Seema Golchha. The incoming board includes Zn. Ava Shah, Zn. Kamal Keshari Tuladhar, Zn. Mridula Rajbhandari, and Zn. Moon Pradhan.
Videos, presentations, and reports of Zonta’s work during the past year was also presented including its work on education, violence against women, campaign on ending child marriage and various advocacy and empowerment programs. Immediate Past President Zontian Meera Jyoti was acknowledged for the completion of a successful tenure. Five new members were inducted to the club during the same.
With the participation of over fifty members all dressed in blue, Zonta International’s centennial color, the AGM was a successful and enriching session. The entire session was conducted according to the protocol and guidelines of Zonta International.
Zonta Club Kathmandu is a non-governmental organization working in Nepal to advance Zonta International’s mission and vision. It works to improve the legal, political, economic, educational, health and professional status of women through service and advocacy.
