Yeti Airlines aircraft averts accident, makes emergency landing
DHANGADHI, June 21:
A Yeti Airlines aircraft averted an accident when a problem occurred in left wing of the airplane two minutes later it took off for Kathmandu from Dhangadhi Airport on Sunday morning.
The aircraft bearing call sign 9N-AHW 426 made an emergency landing at the airport after the problem was noticed. All the passengers and crew members onboard the plane are safe.
Chief of Geta Airport Rajendra Bahadur Singh said the plane that took off at around 11:04 pm and made emergency landing within two minutes of take off, adding that a team of engineers from Kathmandu are on the way for repair.
It is learnt that nine passengers were aboard the aircraft.
