Weekly Wrap-Up; (Review Period: June 7 – 11, 2015)

The benchmark index plunged by 11.12 points or 1.2 percent this week to close at 937.96 level compared to last week closing of 926.84.
The local bourse gained 4.33 points, 14.32 points and 21.1 points on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday closing at 931.17 level, 945.49 level and 966.59 level respectively amid the agreement among the major political parties of the country on the 11 major points in formation of constitution.
However NEPSE witnessed plunge of 10.93 points and 17.7 points on Wednesday and Thursday settling at 955.66 level and 937.96 level respectively amid the surge in the selling trend by the investors who wanted to book profit on the shares purchased at lower price couple of weeks before.
The total turnover of this week stood at Rs 1,620.85 million whereas average turnover of the week amounted Rs 324.17 million.
Banking (827.29), Development (777.68) and Finance (523.08) gained 17.61 points, 12.93 points and 2.93 points respectively than last week.
Similarly HydroPower (2144.85) and Manufacturing (1533.12) gained 51.82 points and 40.43 points respectively compared to last week.
Hotels (1844.79), Others (723.7), Insurance (3861.85) and Trading (220.54) however plunged by 14.77 points, 4.7 points, 71.78 points and 9.29 points respectively than last week.
