Weekly Wrap-up (Review Period June 14 to June 18, 2015)

NEPSE index dipped by double digits of 13.36 points or 1.42 percent to close at 924.6 level this week compared to last week closing of 937.96 mark index.
Similarly Sensitive and Float plunged by 1.55% and 1.59% to settle at 197.71 and 66.06 levels respectively.
The local bourse started its journey this week with plunge of 9.61 points by closing at 928.35 level.
However the benchmark index gained few points (5.38 points) on Monday but there after dropped by 3.03 points, 2.85 points and 3.25 points on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday respectively.
Mostly Commercial Bank’s shares like Nepal Credit and Commerce, Nepal Bangladesh, Nepal Bank, Prabhu Bank, Everest bank and Prime Commercial Bank were traded this week.
Also the huge amount of trading of Promoter shares of Nabil Bank, Laxmi Bank and Nepal Investment bank were done this week.
The total turnover of this week amounted Rs 986.21 million where 2,897,666 unit shares were traded. Average turnover of this week was Rs 197.24 million.
Among the sub-indices, Hotels and Manufacturing sectors gained 3.19 point and 37.16 points respectively than last week.
