Traffic Resumes on Ridi–Tamghas Road After Landslide Clearance

The Ridi–Tamghas section of the Madan Bhandari Highway in Gulmi district has reopened following a dry landslide that had blocked the road.
The landslide, which included rocks and debris, occurred near the water tank area in Ruru Kshetra Rural Municipality-3, causing the road to remain closed since early morning. Traffic services resumed after authorities cleared the debris, according to Gangabahadur Saru, Information Officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office.
Currently, the Ridi–Tamghas road section under the Madan Bhandari Highway is undergoing construction to widen the road by 25 kilometers and to pave it with asphalt.
