Top 10 Low Float Development Banks in NEPSE: Key EPS, P/E, and NPL Insights

Currently, there are 17 Class B development banks operating in Nepal, all of which are listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). In this parameters analysis, we evaluate the performance of top 10 least floated developments banks across four key parameters: public float, Price-to-Earnings (P/E) ratio, Non-Performing Loans (NPL) and Earnings Per Share (EPS).
Narayani Development Bank Limited (NABBC) leads as the least floated company in the development bank sector with 1,574,806 public shares (70.00% promoter share), closely followed by Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL) with 1,575,000 shares (70.00% promoter share), and Salapa Bikas Bank Limited (SABBL) in third with 1,723,880 shares (67.00% promoter share).

Lumbini Bikas Bank (LBBL) boasts the lowest P/E ratio in the sector at 20.14, making it the most attractively valued company relative to earnings, closely followed by Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited (KSBBL) at 21.22 and Excel Development Bank Limited (EDBL) in third with a P/E ratio of 22.86.


Excel Development Bank Limited (EDBL) leads the sector in profitability with the highest Earnings Per Share (EPS) of 24.76, closely followed by Lumbini Bikas Bank (LBBL) at 23.48, and Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited (KSBBL) ranking third with an EPS of 22.34.
