Terhathum Power to Invest in Lalupate Hydropower Project

Terhathum Power Company Limited has decided to invest in Lalupate Hydropower Company Limited. The decision was made during the company’s 64th Board Meeting held on Poush 11, 2082, at 3:00 PM. As per the board’s resolution and the approval granted by the Eighth Annual General Meeting, the company will purchase 100,000 shares at a face value of NPR 100 each of Lalupate Hydropower Company Limited.

Lalupate Hydropower is currently developing the 49.95 MW Dana Khola Hydropower Project in Naso Rural Municipality–2, Manang District. The project has already obtained survey and generation licenses and plans to begin commercial operation by Kartik 5, 2084. Construction progress and project budget have been assessed as satisfactory, prompting Terhathum Power’s investment decision.
