Sunrise Bank distributed Social Security Fund

The social security fund which was only distributed by government banks and local government institutions earlier now can also be distributed by commercial bank listed in A-category of Nepal Rastra Bank.

The CEO of Dakshinkali municipality Biswaraj Maraseni and Sunrise bank Pharping branch manager Sudarshan Khatiwada had signed an agreement related with distribution of social security fund. Till now the bank has been distributing social security fund from seven of its branches which includes its branches of  Budhanilkantha, Birat chowk, Birgunj, Gothatar, Pharping, Taukhel and Bhairahawa.

According to Khatiwada, all customers with social security will receive their social security fund through a bank account. The distribution of social security fund through bank accounts will not only be more managed and transparent but will also yield additional interest for the account holders.
