Standard Chartered Q3 earnings drop 4.14% to Rs 95.75 crore

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited (SCB) has posted 4.18 % decline in net profit for the third quarter of the current fiscal year 2071/72. The bank’s net profit declined to Rs 95.75 crore from Rs 99.94 crore in the corresponding quarter of the fiscal year 2070/71, as per the unaudited financial report for the third quarter today.
The bank has mobilized deposits of Rs 51.39 arba in the 3rd quarter compared to Rs 42.95 arba in the corresponding quarter last year. Likewise, it extended loans of Rs 30.79 arba, up from Rs 27.01 arba.
Standard Chartered’s net interest income has slightly decreased from Rs 1.48 arba in the corresponding quarter last year to Rs 1.40 arba in the third quarter of 2071/72.
It posted an operating profit of Rs 1.32 arba
The bank’s non-performing loan (NPL) has gone down from 0.52 % in the third quarter of the last fiscal to 0.18% this year.
Its EPS (annualized) stands at Rs 56.79, net worth per share at Rs 269.02, PE ratio (annualized) at 34.49 times and CD ratio at 78.70%.
