Siddhartha Bank Q3 profit surges by 52.31% to Rs 55.39 crore

Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBL) has posted 52.31 percent growth in net profit for the third quarter of the current fiscal year 2071/72.
Publishing the unaudited financial report for the third quarter today, Siddhartha Bank has stated that the bank’s net profit rose to Rs 55.39 crore , up from Rs 36.36 crore in the corresponding quarter of the fiscal year 2070/71.
The bank has mobilized deposits of Rs 41.83 arba in the 3rd quarter compared to Rs 32.48 arba in the corresponding quarter last year. Likewise, it extended loans of Rs 34.97 arba, up from Rs 25.31 arba.
Siddhartha’s net interest income has risen from Rs 88.04 crore in the corresponding quarter last year to Rs 1.01 arba in the third quarter of 2071/72.
It posted an operating profit of Rs 83.04 crore.
The bank has managed to trim down non-performing loans to 2.30% by the end of the third quarter of the current fiscal from 3.14% in the third quarter of the last fiscal.
Its EPS (annualized) now stands at Rs 35.83, net worth per share at Rs 174.59, PE ratio at 19.17 times and CD ratio at 78.35 percent.
