SBI, Muktinath Development announce support to quake victims, set up fund

Nepal SBI Bank Limited has decided to contribute Rs 50 lakhs to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund to provide support to the victims of the earthquake and landslides in several parts of the country, the bank has said in a press statement.

The fund is being deposited in the Earthquake Victims Donation Collection (PM Disaster Relief Fund) Account with Account no. 17725240200640 maintained at the bank's Durbarmarg branch.

The bank has urged responsible citizens, organizations, business/commercial entities, agencies, associations, forums, those based in the country and abroad, to make contribution to the government by depositing funds in the account.

Likewise, Muktinath Bikas Bank has opened an account Earthquake Victim Relief Fund to provide monetary help to the victims of earthquake that occurred in Baishak 12.

People who are interested to donate for the earthquake victims can deposit money to the account number 00410200076812000001 at the bank.

Muktinath has deposited rupees Rs 1,11,100 into the account. The CEO of the bank Bharat Raj Dhakal has said the bank hopes to collect approximately Rs 10 lakh. The bank employees have decided to contribute their 3 day’s salary into the relief fund.
