Sahas Urja Posts 51.84% Profit Growth, EPS Climbs to Rs. 29.72

Sahas Urja Limited (SAHAS) has posted a strong financial performance in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2082/83, with its net profit increasing by 51.84% year-on-year to Rs. 1.35 Arba.

The company's reserves and surplus grew by 16.39%, reaching Rs. 3.68 Arba, reflecting a stronger financial position. Meanwhile, investment in property, plant, and equipment increased by 5.88% to Rs. 30.28 crores.

One of the key highlights of the quarter was a significant decline in administrative expenses, which fell by 54.69% to Rs. 3.54 crores, contributing to improved overall profitability. Consequently, earnings per share (EPS) rose by 25.49% to Rs. 29.72. However, the company's net worth per share declined slightly by 1.73% to Rs. 180.47.

As of the end of the fourth quarter, SAHAS closed at a market price of Rs. 636 per share, with a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 21.40 times.
