RU RU Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Limited Announces Partial Divestment from Karnali Water Power Pvt. Ltd.

RU RU Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Limited has officially notified the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) regarding a significant decision made during its Board of Directors meeting held on 1st Ashadh, 2082.

According to the official communication submitted to NEPSE, the company has decided to divest a portion of its investment in Karnali Water Power Pvt. Ltd. As per the decision taken during the board meeting held at 4:30 PM, the company will sell a total investment worth Rs. 4,23,00,000 out of its total Rs. 7,70,00,000 investment in the said company.

The sale, including applicable taxes, amounts to a total of Rs. 9,14,26,513. This strategic financial decision reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to rebalance its investment portfolio and may be aimed at optimizing liquidity, supporting new project developments, or meeting capital expenditure needs.
